About Me

  • I was born and raised in a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. My family’s annual summer vacation was a trip to the Jersey shore.

  • I earned a Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from The Pennsylvania State University in 2008.

  • I drove across the country to relocate to Portland, Oregon in 2010. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

  • I earned a Master of Social Work from Portland State University in 2014.

  • Since entering the field of mental health, I’ve worked with adolescents in residential treatment facilities, college students at a university mental health clinic, and adults at a nonprofit supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence. I’ve worked as a Mental Health Therapist and Behavioral Health Clinician in a Primary Care Clinic since 2019.

  • I’m committed to my personal and professional growth. I attend monthly clinical supervision along with my own therapy.

  • I aim to be anti-racist and anti-oppressive. I work hard to stay educated and active. As a white, able-bodied cisgender female, I will always have more learning and work to do.

  • My greatest joys are my dog, Gertie (see pic below), laughing till my sides hurt, dancing at live music, long walks with friends, iced coffee on a hot day, and being near the ocean.
